New Opinion Poll in Palestine
Marwan Barghouti still in the lead
An opinion poll conducted by the “Centre for the Arab world for research and
development” on a random sample of 1200 people in period between 3-5 May,
2008 regarding the Palestinian situation in general and the
Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the prospects for peace. The poll also
dealt with the issue of early elections.
The result showed that Marwan Barghouti still in the lead as the most
popular leader. He would get for the best results against any other
candidate for presidency.
